mid-trip update...
okay...it's possible that idaho might be my new favorite state...only because while i spent three luxurious hours awaiting my shuttle to jackson, i had genuine, home-grown, from the farm down the road potatoes...spud farm, i think she called it...i ate them in the form of french fries...and i must say- they were good!
pappan, i'm working on how to smuggle you a sixer of snake river beer...say a prayer...

i can't answer the phone...i am in the mountains and i have no reception!! if you could take it to joseph's and just put it in the side fence he is going to take care of it...you are my hero!! i won't be home until monday night- late...hope your break has been good...it feels like i have been gone for a month! it snowed this morning and it was glorious...missing you and hope the running is going well...been praying for you a lot...hugs- and remember, i am stoked! :)
Sounds like good potatoes. Does Idaho do all kinds of potatoes or do they specialize in a single kind? 'Cause it would suck to go all the way to Idaho and buy the wrong kind of potato. You'd be like, "This is a very average potato, in no way as good as I was led to believe it would be."
Nice post, its a Super cool blog that you have here, keep up the good work, will be back.
Warm Regards
The Snake River
