schoo....ls out...for...summer
well, it didn't look quite like this...but there is no way i could share with you the debauchery that was born in the midst of celebration...
i am signing off from austin for about six weeks...going to the fallstown to do a little pastoral work...run on my favorite trail...hike in the oldest mountain range in the united states...sit at the pub with friends...
this year has truly kicked ass...love to all...

School is out... time to paddle the freshmen and have a party at the moon tower!
get this- i was house-sitting for a lady and i thought there was a moon tower close by- and it was covered with hundreds of vultures...very strange...
it turned out to not be a moontower, but it was still the fortress for a myriad of vultures...i thought there might be a convention? do vultures do that? :)
they absolutely hold conventions...think of those ones we saw at enchanted rock
for sure...and for the record, i have no idea what God was thinking when they were being penciled into the creation sketchboard...whew, u-g-l-y ...poor fellows and fellowettes....
