on top of the world...

yeah...this is where i have been for at least 10 days now...12,640 ft away from ordination exams...

this was one of the most incredible moments for me in the 15 day excursion...i haven't really come down - figuratively...so much that i am afraid my academia these last few days has lacked a certain engagement...but then again, maybe it served a purpose yet not understood...

all i know is that i will hang on to this moment always...and thanks to mary for joining me in the jump...i get giddy when i look at this :)

by the way, my usual dubious nature regarding the gospel of john is subsiding...turns out, i might end up liking this piece of work after all...i will tell you on thursday! blessings to all who are in the midst of explaining all biblical insights in the form of essays...too bad the graders don't walk around with us in life and grade us on our engagement in the world regarding the gospel...wait...do we want that? :)

wilderness here i come...

these boots are made for walking...i am headed out for a couple of weeks to somewhere unknown...i think it is a test of letting go of control...i can take nothing...no phone, no watch, nothing...except a few clothes...:)
